Dr. Ivana Skuhala Karasman / CV
She graduated in philosophy and croatology from the Centre for Croatian Studies at the University of Zagreb. In 2003 she received her master’s degree in philosophy, and in 2011 she defended a PhD thesis in philosophy under the title Prediction in Medieval and Renaissance Natural Philosophy (in Works of H. Dalmatin, F. Grisogono, J. Dubrovčanin). Since 2005 she has been employed at the Institute of Philosophy. She is executive editor of the journal Contributions to the Research Into the Croatian Philosophical Heritage. She translates from German (Helene Druskowitz). Her areas of interest include renaissance philosophy, Croatian philosophy, philosophy of gender and problem of free will.
